Alix Lee (she/her) is a freelance journalist and writer with a passion for social justice and gender equality. She has a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Writing, Editing and Publishing from the University of Queensland, and has contributed to Women's Agenda and Our Songlines. 

Alix acknowledges First Nations people as the original inhabitants and Traditional Owners of Australia, and would like to pay respects to Yuggera Country on which she lives and works.
